I'm a amateur comic book artist from the mid-west. Like a lot of artists my influences grow by the day. I'm a work in progress as I hope to start learning how to render my art digitally. For now though, I'll stick with what I know and hopefully you'll enjoy it.

yes I know its been a while but I'm back once again to bring you some more cheesy cartoony goodness. life got in the way lately but I have found the time to attend some local comic events in my hometown make a little bit of money doing sketches and a few full color art pieces. I usually don't do a lot of color pieces simply because I don't feel that I'm very good at it. I'm trying to get better but it's a bit of a process. the Thundarr the Barbarian piece that you see in full color took me about an hour to do. people have suggested that I start trying to build a brand at least when it comes to my original characters to do prints and then try

Well I've finally got something to let me work digitally. I bought a Galaxy Note 10.1 and added Sketchbook Pro to it. Hopefully this techno-tard can figure out how to use it properly so it doesn't become an expensive paperweight. Stay Tooned True Believers and hopefully I can whip up some interesting stuff to present.

I've continued to devolve art wise. To me "Cartoony" isn't a bad word when it comes to comics. Simplified forms are easier to create an expressive picture. I look at my influences and see both fluid simplified, expressive forms, that can be built upon to give a powerful image. Alex Toth, Jack Kriby, Disney, Walter Lantz, Chuck Jones, Tex Avery,John Kricfalusi, Bruce Timm, Carl Barks, Floyd Gottfredson, Ralph Bakshi, DonBluth, and list continues to grow as I discover more. I can do more "realistic" art, but it takes longer and looks to stiff and rigid to me. While I marvel at the photo realistic artists like Alex Ross, I know I can never do i
